Home: What We Do

Week 9

(8/20-8/24)

Arts & Crafts: In arts & crafts this week we are making Superman and Superwoman badges, Avengers silly string art, glitter glue Spiderman spider webs, clothespin Batman logos, and Joker golfball faces.

Nature: In Nature this week we will be playing nature bingo, making sachets, learning about different plants in the garden, and playing vegetable bingo.

Dance: In dance this week we are learning different superhero dance moves such as the Superman/woman, Ironman, Hulk, and Captain America grooves, the Spiderweb dance, Batman and Catwoman dances, and we are finishing the week with some dance moves inspired by villains.

Sensory: In the sensory barn this week we are learning to fly like superman, completing a spider web obstacles course, making spiderman slime, and playing with the parachute.

PE: In PE this week we are playing beach volleyball, playing basketball, completing an obstacle course, and participating in a camp-wide scavenger hunt.

Music: In music this week we are learning to play different musical instruments and singing along to some superhero theme songs to go along with our superhero theme of the week.

Superheroes and Villains

This week our theme is superheroes and villains. Break out your capes, masks, and your favorite superhero gear. The daily themes this week are:

*Monday: Superman/Superwoman

*Tuesday: Avengers

*Wednesday: Spiderman

*Thursday: Batman and Catwoman

*Friday: Villains

Week 8
(8/13 - 8/17)

Disney

This week our theme is Disney. You can help us celebrate these themes by wearing your favorite Disney merchandise or bringing in your favorite Disney souvenirs. The daily themes this week will be:

*Monday: Frozen

*Tuesday: Moana

*Wednesday: Beauty and the Beast

*Thursday: Minion's

*Friday: Old School Disney

Week 7

(8/7-8/10)

Under the Sea

This week our theme is Under the Sea. We will start the week with a beach theme and end the week with our 'water wars' competition. The daily themes this week will be:

*Monday: Beach Day

*Tuesday: Pool Party

*Wednesday: Scuba Excursion

*Thursday: Pirates

*Friday: Water Wars

Week 6
(7/30-8/3)

Olympics

This week it's game on for our Olympics themed week. Each group will pick a color to represent their team. The groups this week are:

*Blue Tigers *Orange Caterpillars

*Pink Dolphins *Black Colts

*Purple Frogs *Rainbow Butterflies

Time Travel

Our theme this week is time travel! We are celebrating each decade from the 70s to today, and Friday we will travel into the future. The daily themes this week are:

* Monday: 70s

* Tuesday: 80s

* Wednesday: 90s

* Thursday: 2000s

* Friday: Into the future

Seeing Stars

Break out the red carpet because we're seeing stars this week with our Hollywood theme! The daily themes this week are:

* Monday: Pop Stars

* Tuesday: Game Show Mania

* Wednesday: Movie Stars

* Thursday: A Day at the Theater

* Friday: Musicals

Holidays

It's Christmas in July! This week we are celebrating some classic holidays. The daily themes this week are:
